Fake Donation Requests

A group called Volunteer Firefighter Alliance from Topeka, Kansas has been sending out flyers and making phone calls requesting donations for volunteer fire departments across PA. The problem is, none of the fire companies they are soliciting for have authorized them to do so on their behalf.

Always be cautious of requests for donations that do not come directly from the organization. If you are unsure, always err on the side of caution and contact the organization directly.
