The RPA-NLC helps to fund educational opportunities for students in the
Northwestern Lehigh school district with proceeds remaining after expenses.

Also accepting: scrap metals (please remove all non metal parts, gas and oil from motors),
auto batteries, bicycles, cooking oil, transmission fluid, uncontaminated used motor oil, pet cages/carriers, pet supplies, extension cords, strings of holiday lights, and baling twine
Goodwill will be accepting donations of clothing, jewelry, purses, useable household items, bedding, towels, curtains, books, toys, stuffed animals, lamps, craft items, luggage, games, sports equipment, working small electronics, musical instruments, and kitchenware. Please wrap breakable items.

Snyders Second Chances will be accepting good used furniture and household items.

No paints, chemicals, antifreeze, smoke detectors, hazardous waste!

ReStore/Habitat: 1053 Grape St, Whitehall (610-776-7737 www.habitat.org/restore) will accept newer appliances, furniture, building materials, electrical supplies, flooring, windows, hardware, plumbing supplies, and more. Check website for information on latex paint recycling events in 2018.
Allentown Recycling Center: 1400 Martin Luther King Jr. Dr, Allentown (610-437-8729, www.lehighcounty.org) will recycle clean glass bottles and jars, aluminum cans, tin and bimetal cans, cardboard, office paper and magazines, newspapers, paperboard, telephone books, good used clothing, hardback and paperback books, #1 and #2 plastics, scrap metals. Open 24 hours a day.
Bethlehem Recycling Center: Illick’s Mill Rd between Schoenersville Rd and Center St, Bethlehem (610-865-7082, www.bethlehem-pa.gov/recycling/services) will recycle clean glass bottles and jars, aluminum cans, tin and bimetal cans, aerosol cans, cardboard, paperboard, office paper, glossy magazines, newspapers, Styrofoam (no egg cartons or food containers of any kind), plastics #1 through #7, telephone books, clothing and textiles, hardback and paperback books, scrap metals. Free paper shredding. Open M-F 9AM-5PM, Saturday 9AM-4PM, and Sunday 11AM-4 PM.
Ask about local yard waste recycling sites, or consider composting kitchen and yard wastes on your own property.

The RPA-NLC is sponsoring Cleansweep. The four Northwestern Lehigh townships are not providing waste disposal facilities or financial help for the event, and while Lowhill Township is allowing the use of its facilities, it is not sponsoring the event. Donations are not tax deductible.
